Please be aware that Hawks have introduced limitations on how many WABL players can be in each team, we are not looking to have an A, B, C, D team, but this year we are hoping to create teams that are more balanced, some will be stronger and some weaker but we hope to have each player in an appropriate team.
As highlighted in my earlier emails, the intention if grading is not about creating premiership teams, but rather creating an environment where every player is a key contributor, and has the opportunity to develop their skills and their love for the game.
Prenominated teams:
You are still welcome and encouraged to attend if you have a pre-nominated team. This helps with organising appropriate grade to recommend you are placed into and helps with finding extra players for teams as needed.
This year the grading will be based on skills and game play.
All sessions will be at LORDS SPORTS CENTRE, 5 Wembley Ct, Subiaco.
The sessions will be as below.
We wish to have 2 weeks of grading, and plan to have the times the same for both the 16th and 23rd. If a player is unable to attend, please let me know.
We ask everyone to bring their own basketball if they have one, if not, we will also supply some.
Please ensure they have a drink, their mouth guard and what ever else they need for training to minimise disruptions. The sessions start at 11.30, but please note that we do not have access to the courts until 11.30, so we will allow some time for a warm up before commencing.
BOYS:
