Our club was founded in 1987 when two teams from Holy Rosary School were entered into the Perry Lakes Basketball competition. A few years later, teams from Newman College entered the club, followed by teams from Holy Spirit School and Woodlands Primary School.

The Newman Holy Rosary Raiders Basketball Club is now one of the largest clubs in the district.   It participates in the Perry Lakes Hawks Basketball Association, Junior Competition.  Games are played Friday evenings and Saturdays from March to September.  All games are played at the new Western Australian Basketball Centre,106 Stephenson Ave, Mt Claremont WA

​Our teams are coached by volunteer parents, with other player parents being actively involved as team managers or scoring games.
